BT get green light for super-fast broadband

BT’s been planning its 21st century network, known as 21cn, for some time. Trouble is, rolling out this fibre optic network will cost BT £1.5 billion.

UK regulator has delivered some good news today – rules have been relaxed, allowing BT to sell on access to their new infrastructure, to allow them to recoup some of the huge outlay.
