Broadband Talk on a Slave Home Hub
I now have two similar articles for using telephony on a slave Home Hub. The original article uses two home hubs, one master and one slave. I also have a new article to do the same thing using a non-BT router as the master.
Both of these are quite involved processes. They are not for the feint-hearted
nor something you should necessarily leave with Auntie Nelly then go home
and leave her with it.
In both cases you must boot the master modem, then boot the slave. I have not used them extensively enough to know how they react to extreme circumstances like multiple calls, standard phones in the phone socket etc. That's for you to try out.
One thing is sure, landline calls are not possible.
