Our podcast team stumbled upon this whilst at the Gadget Show Live earlier this year. It’s a small bottle of a very special fluid. Dab on a tiny dot onto something you want to keep safe. In the event that the item is recovered, the police can use a UV light to reveal the mark. UV marking’s been around for years, but the EnigmaTAG difference is that the dots contain micro-particles that hold a unique serial number. When scanned with a special camera, the code is revealed and you stand a good chance of getting the good back.
